Listen Up: What Youth Living with HIV Need To Achieve 90-90-90
Youth are at higher risk of acquiring HIV than adults, and, once infected, have lower rates of accessing treatment, achieving viral suppression, and being retained in care. Achieving the WHO “90-90-90” targets requires engagement of youth living with HIV (YLWH) in effective services. This interactive symposium will review research gaps and priorities in care and treatment for YLWH, along with existing programs and tools targeted toward meeting the needs of YLWH. It will also provide a forum for YLWH to dialogue directly with researchers, program implementers, and policy makers.

VMMC as Prevention: Maximizing Investments and Sustainability Considerations
This satellite, sponsored by PEPFAR and USAID through the AIDSFree Project, will provide a summary of VMMC and early infant male circumcision (EIMC)-related research findings to be published in July 2016 in two journal collections in PLOS and Global Health: Science and Practice. The PLOS collection, focused on VMMC modeling, was developed in collaboration with USAID, the World Bank, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The Global Health: Science and Practice collection, focused on EIMC, was produced in collaboration with UNICEF. Results with significant policy- and strategy-level consequences for national HIV programs will be highlighted. A moderated panel discussion following the presentation of the research will feature key stakeholders sharing their experiences in scaling up VMMC and their ideas about future directions. Members of the audience will be encouraged to participate actively in the dialogue.
