Anne Jorgensen
HP+ Technical Lead for Advocacy and Capacity Development
Anne is the HP+ technical lead for advocacy and the project’s capacity development senior technical advisor. She directs the project’s advocacy and leadership support to the Sustainable Development Goals and its women’s leadership activities, and provides technical guidance on capacity development. Anne brings 30 years of experience in international development, intercultural consulting, and private sector work. In 18 years on USAID’s global health policy projects, Anne has been technical director for capacity development, Asia regional manager, country manager, and advocacy advisor. She developed an innovative resource suite for organizational capacity assessment and planning, as well as a policy implementation assessment tool. She has worked with country staff, government officials, and nongovernmental/civil society organizations in 20 countries. Anne holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and a Master’s degree in international communications from American University.
