Capacity Development Approaches for COVID-19 Frontline Healthcare Workers: Experiences from Honduras and El Salvador

During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, HP+ provided technical assistance to frontline healthcare workers in Honduras and El Salvador, strengthening specific skills amidst a global emergency response. Despite numerous challenges, including physical distancing, limited resources, and global lockdowns, HP+ achieved substantial success by applying key interventions such as stakeholder engagement, development of hybrid virtual approaches, and use of telemedicine programs.
