Inclusive Multisectoral Approach Leads to Family Planning Results in Madagascar
Hosted by: Paul Richard Ralainirina and Laura Hurley
In Madagascar, HP+ employed an inclusive, multisectoral approach to support the government in its FP2020, now FP2030, commitments. Join this session to hear how ministries from multiple sectors, development partners, civil society, youth, and the private sector were brought together to revise policy, conduct advocacy, and generate and use data as well as how their combined efforts helped to secure high-level wins for family planning and a 10 percent increase in the country’s modern contraceptive prevalence rate.
