Positive Health, Dignity, and Prevention (PHDP): Training Modules for Promoting Leadership among Persons Living with HIV

The PHDP is a curriculum developed by and for people living with HIV and key populations to promote personal health and to advocate for high-quality HIV services. Originally developed in 2014 by the Jamaican Network of Seropositives, the Jamaican Ministry of Health’s National Family Planning Board (GIPA Capacity Building Project) and National HIV/STI/TB Unit, and HP+'s predecessor the Health Policy Project, the curriculum was revised and expanded by community stakeholders in 2017. The revised version consists of 17 modules, designed to be delivered two days a week over 10 weeks, but can be used independently or adapted for different stakeholders and country contexts (see Annex B for sample training schedules for different audiences and time frames).
