Ethiopia has made tremendous progress in responding to the HIV epidemic and is close to achieving UNAIDS’ 90-90-90 targets. However, declining donor financing and stagnant domestic allocations for HIV threaten to stall—or even reverse—this progress. This brief provides data on the current funding situation, experiences from other countries facing declines in donor funding, and recommendations on where to invest to save lives and money.
