The Royal Government of Cambodia has developed a National Social Protection Policy Framework 2016–2025 (NSPPF) that envisions a universal healthcare system that provides every Cambodian citizen with affordable and quality healthcare. HP+ conducted a side-by-side comparison of the different schemes and their characteristics to provide an overview of the current social health insurance landscape. This is the first step to inform discussions—and, ultimately, decisions—about options to expand social health protection and advance the goals of the NSPPF.
