This article, co-authored by two Health Policy Plus staff, estimates the financial rates of return to health investments in Kenya. Unveiling a new method for computing financial rates of return to health investments, the study demonstrates that health investments in Kenya improve both health and income, and that the financial rate of return associated with the investments is substantially larger than what is currently assumed by lenders.
