Cote d’Ivoire’s National Policy on Task-Sharing for Reproductive Health and Family Planning

Developed with HP+ support, Cote d’Ivoire’s Ministry of Health and Public Hygiene adopted a national policy on task-sharing for reproductive health and family planning. The reference document describes the country's vision and recommendations for different categories of health workers, from community health workers to mid-level providers, who can be trained to provide safe contraceptive methods. Effective implementation of the policy will help to reach underserved populations and those living in rural areas with family planning services.
