This analysis, conducted jointly by the Keneya Jemu Kan and Health Policy Plus projects, provides an overview of trends related to condoms and injectable contraceptives in Mali, within the perspective of a total market approach. An understanding of market dynamics provides a basis to make recommendations on how donors and the public and private sectors can work together to best reach those most in need of family planning commodities. The findings have been shared with key stakeholders, including donors, government, and the private sector, to address market barriers and opportunities for condoms and injectables.
