Over the years, there has been heavy reliance on external funding for the provision of HIV services to key populations and vulnerable groups implemented through civil society organisations (CSOs) in Suriname. With that funding in decline, HP+ assisted the Government of Suriname to develop a social contracting mechanism to assist with the continuation and sustainability of HIV services to key populations. The social contracting roadmap guides a step-by-step approach to the introduction of social contracting. Linked to the roadmap is an implementation plan, which outlines specific activities and timelines required to implement the social contracting mechanism. Both documents should be adjusted as necessary to reflect changes in timelines, policies, and regulations.
