In 2018, the Health & Human Services Secretariat (HHSS) of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) of Nigeria developed a Resource Mobilization Plan (RMP) for the FCT health sector. The RMP contains a set of resource mobilization strategies intended to close the annual funding gap for the FCT Strategic Health Development Plan II 2018-2022 by 2022. Prior to developing the RMP, the HHSS, with support from HP+, conducted a fiscal space analysis, which was to serve as the main input to the RMP. The analysis identified the amount of current and potential health financing resources that could be mobilized to the health sector based on macroeconomic and financial trends and policy targets.
