In Malawi, there is an urgent need to improve HIV testing uptake, treatment initiation, and adherence among men and boys. HP+ collaborated with religious leaders to create these guides to help religious leaders engage men and boys on HIV issues. The guides provide information and messages on key HIV topics, together with supporting verses from the Holy Bible and Holy Qur’an. The messages in these guides were developed in collaboration with religious leaders and in consultation with groups of men and boys. There are three versions of the guide—one for Christian leaders, one for Muslim leaders, and one nondenominational version; each version is available in both English and Chichewa.
