Given Cambodia’s plan to move toward a sustainable and domestically financed HIV program, HP+ undertook an analysis to help stakeholders in the country understand the potential to cover people living with HIV in the country’s Health Equity Fund and the financial implications of doing so. The analysis provides evidence for decisionmakers and advocacy partners on current patterns of coverage and costs of including all people living with HIV as one of the key vulnerable groups eligible for the fund. Findings provide estimates on the cost implications of expanding fund coverage to more people living with HIV and provide a range of options for the National AIDS Authority and the government of Cambodia for coverage expansion.
