The Burkina Faso Budgeting Process: An Advocacy Guide for Mobilizing Public Domestic Resources for the Fight against HIV

In the last decade, Burkina Faso has made substantial progress in its response to HIV. For the country to continue progressing toward its HIV targets and other health priorities, civil society organizations must be adequately involved in the budgeting process. This brief is intended to equip civil society organizations in Burkina Faso with sufficient knowledge of the government’s health budgeting process in order to identify opportunities for HIV budget advocacy and effectively take advantage of these opportunities to advocate for HIV funding.
