Vaccination efforts are critical to ending the COVID-19 pandemic. This guide provides evidence-based information and instructions for local health government authorities and healthcare workers to implement COVID-19 vaccine administration sites globally. The first section of the guide provides information for setting up a COVID-19 vaccine administration site while the second section provides information for healthcare personnel about vaccine storage and handling, preparation, administration, and follow-up to identify and address critical adverse events. The guide also provides resources to educate patients while reducing misinformation at all levels. Recognizing that new data and recommendations are emerging rapidly, links are provided to sources of data and other information that are regularly updated.
