Recognizing the galvanizing force of young people to champion change for themselves in their unique country context, HP+ West Africa adapted the project’s proven youth engagement approach to deliver training virtually amid COVID-19. Partnering with TechChange to create an online platform, HP+ provided virtual training to engage youth to bolster their confidence and skills in influencing health policies. The interactive forum reached more youth and provided learning across many West African countries as described in this brief.
