Only half of all those living with HIV under the age of 15 are on antiretroviral therapy and new infections and AIDS-related deaths are increasing among adolescents. As part of the global HIV response, HP+ is assisting countries in placing children, adolescents, and young adults at the forefront in the development and execution of HIV policy and programs and developing the evidence base to do so. This fact sheet outlines how HP+ is supporting young people the world over and helping countries build sustainable HIV responses for children, adolescents, and young adults.
