Niger’s National Action Plan 2013–2020, which stems from the Health Development Plan 2011–2015, sets out plans to reduce population growth through family planning, with a goal to reach a contraceptive prevalence rate of 50% in 2020. This 2018 Operational Plan identifies the resources required for the implementation of priority activities and the purchase of contraceptive products. It was developed by the Directorate General for Reproductive Health and the Mother and Child Planning Department of the Ministry of Health, with support from technical and financial partners, including HP+.
