Suneeta Sharma

Director, Health Policy Plus Project, and Vice President, Health Practice at Palladium

Suneeta Sharma, HP+ project director, brings more than 20 years of experience in health policy, financing, and equity. Her unique skillset includes technical expertise in health economics, policy, financing, and strategic planning; a demonstrated ability to manage large projects and budgets; and experience training leaders, policymakers, and managers. Suneeta also helped to manage two of HP+’s predecessor projects—as director of the Health Policy Project from 2013–2016, and as deputy director for the Health Policy Initiative. Suneeta was managing director of Futures Group India and the chief of party of innovations for a family planning technical assistance project. She taught healthcare financial management, economics, and strategic planning courses to post-graduates as assistant professor in the Indian Institute of Health Management Research. Suneeta earned her Master’s and Doctorate degrees in economic administration and financial management from the University of Rajasthan, and holds a Master’s in health policy and administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
