In Tanzania, HP+ built the Sauti Yangu, Afya Yangu (My Voice, My Health) system to enable citizens to provide feedback on the quality and availability of health services using their mobile phones. HP+ piloted the system in all 53 health facilities in Kishapu District. The Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly, and Children is working to consolidate citizen feedback mechanisms into a single system: Afya Maoni (Health Feedback). HP+ supported the ministry in these efforts, contributing lessons learned from Sauti Yangu, which the ministry has already used to improve the Afya Maoni system. On November 3, 2017, HP+ brought together stakeholders to share the Sauti Yangu experience and confer about the way forward for Afya Maoni.
