HP+ Shares Work on Transforming Gender Norms at 2016 Women Deliver Conference

May 16, 2016
Palladium and the USAID-funded MEASURE Evaluation and Health Policy Plus (HP+) projects hosted a partner event at the Women Deliver conference in Copenhagen on May 16. The session was attended by representatives from universities, non-governmental organizations, and bilateral and multilateral donors interested in gaining hands-on experience in developing appropriate strategies and metrics for transforming gender norms. This event shared findings from the systematic review of Transforming Gender Norms, Roles, and Power Dynamics for Better Health. Participants were able to discuss and apply evidence-based strategies that transform gender norms, roles, and relationships for successful improvements in FP/MNCH outcomes. They learned new techniques and enhanced their skills to measure the impact of gender integration on health outcomes.
